Course Description
This course is an introduction to quantitative methods for graduate students
in po-litical science. The goal is to build a solid foundation in quantitative
research and toprepare students for PLS 802. Topics in this course include
descriptive statistics, prob-ability, sampling, and statistical inference.
The principles of statistical reasoning andhands-on experience will be equally
emphasized.
