グロタンディーク宇宙
集合論は無限の階層を持つ。
公理から論理的演繹のみであらゆる数学を展開できるとされる公理的集合論ZFCのモデルとなる集合は、宇宙などと称されることが多い。
圏の一般理論はZFCだけでは展開できないが、ZFCに新たに別の公理を加えたZFCGにおいては展開できるようになる。
このモデルとなるのがグロタンディーク宇宙である。
