例えばシリコンバレーが位置しインテルやグラフィックボードのNVIDIAがあるカルフォルニア州サンタクララ郡、またバイオテクノロジーが盛んなメリーランド州モンゴメリー郡など豊かな地域の男性は81歳ほどまで生きるとのこと。
その一方で、ウエストバージニア州マクダウェル、★★ミシシッピ州サンフラワーなど貧しい地域では63〜67歳ほどしか生きられません★★。
