これで、下記が参考になるな ”where Z(1) is the abelian group μn of nth roots of unity with respect to the algebraic closure of Z/pZ.
In etale cohomology in characteristic p, the Tate twist of a Z/pZ-module, or sheaf of such modules, 略 where Z(1) is the abelian group μn of nth roots of unity with respect to the algebraic closure of Z/pZ.
For n≧0, the nth Tate twist of A, often denoted A(n), is defined to be the result of carrying out the above construction n times.
The l-adic Tate twist Zl(1) is defined by means of the inverse system consisting of the groups μli along with the morphisms μli+1→μli given by a→al, for i≧1, and one can then define Zl(n) for any integer n.
The point of this is that it shows that Zl(1), that is to say, the Tate twist of Zl, is the correct choice of orientation sheaf in l-adic cohomology.
There are variations on how to tell the above story (Deligne’s discussion in 1.6 of SGA 412, via etale cohomology with compact support, can be recommended for instance), but they all come down ultimately to the fact that Zl(1) is the correct choice of orientation sheaf in an l-adic setting.
To return to our starting point, a crucial remark here is that whilst Zl(1) is non-canonically isomorphic to Zl as a Zl-module, the two are not isomorphic as Galois representations. Thus the presence of Tate twists is indispensable to the arithmetic aspect of cohomology.
The analogue of this story goes through for singular cohomology of a complex manifold. The roots of unity in this case are a choice of a square root of -1, namely either i or -i. The choice is invisible in the geometric part of singular cohomology, namely as an abelian group, but it can be seen in the Hodge structure. The analogue of the computations involving Gm and P1 are that the kernel of the exponential map C→C× is Z, and the inclusion of Z in C is via 1→2πi. Thus the Tate twist in singular cohomology is tensoring with 2πiZ.
Tate twists are so fundamental that they are built into Grothendieck’s definition of the category of pure motives: one formally inverts (this is the analogue of taking the dual in the above story) the Lefschetz motive, namely the motive of a pointed P1.

体 K(これは函数体かもしれないしそうでないかもしれない)が与えられたとき、そこから局所環を見つけることができる。

History One of the earliest uses of the term interaction was in a discussion by Niels Bohr in 1913 of the interaction between the negative electron and the positive nucleus.[6] Exchange forces were introduced by Werner Heisenberg (1932) and Ettore Majorana (1933) in order to account for the saturation of binding energy and of nuclear density.[7][8] This was done in analogy to the quantum mechanical theory of covalent bonds, such as exist between two hydrogen atoms in the hydrogen molecule wherein the chemical force is attractive if the wave function is symmetric under exchange of coordinates of the electrons and is repulsive if the wave function is anti-symmetric in this respect.[9]

For a prime p, the ring of p-adic integers Zp is the inverse limit Zp = lim ←- Z/p^nZ of the inverse system of rings (Z/p^nZ) with morphisms (fn) given by reduction modulo pn (for a residue class x ∈ Z/pn+1Z, pick an integer x ∈ x and take its residue class in Z/p^nZ).
