I think "lie in the germ at at 0" is a bit misleading. Shouldn't it be that the constant 0-function (i.e. x-axis) and the two functions with the red tick have the same germ at 0? So your "germ at -1" is actually "germ of functions which take the value -1 in a small neighborhood of 0". Please correct me if this is wrong.

i have a question, its probably a bit stupid but iam not shure if i am getting the idea of a germ correctly! The fact that you write F_(0,0) confuses me a little bit. So are the Germs of functions taking value say -1 at x=0 also in the Stalkt F_(0,0) or is this another one.?
